ATLANTA, GA-- The National Gridiron League (NGL) unveiled its new logo identities for the Western Football Conference (WFC) with a revamped brand structure for all marks and revised color scheme.

The new branding identity comes after a conscientious process to create a strong, cohesive set of marks to modernize the look while staying true to the league's mission.

"We desired a logo that would exemplify the strong spirit of many of our mid-western cities while building upon the work of the league," said NGL Chairman Joe McClendon. "We're excited to unveil this new look that elevates the profile of the western conference while also symbolizing the strengthen of the teams within the conference."

The new branding is based on a combination of the conference name and official colors of the NGL. The Western Football Conference logo displays the letter "W" that withholds two stars to symbolize the conference's north and south divisions. A refreshed color scheme of navy gives the marks a bolder presence, and the custom typeface combined with the Amoba font family gives an exclusive feel for the conference.

"The western locations that are apart of our league have proud sporting tradition in which we are extremely excited to make a sports contribution," added McClendon. "Our conference logo and word-marks clearly define their respective conference and the proud rich tradition of the region."

The WFC will be host to six NGL franchises in the Arkansas Twisters, Baton Rouge Redsticks, Houston Bighorns, Kansas City Kapitals, Mississippi Mudcats, and Saint Louis Stampede
